It's Fluttershy :D!!!

For the first time working in Paint Tool SAI... It's easy to use, however, I still suck at making shadows :XD:

But but but but! I am improving, judging from some work I saw of me a couple of years ago =3

What do you think?!

And... not to forget: MLP:FiM (c) :iconfyre-flye:

A very nice result for your first time in SAI, congratulations!

What I think is the strongest point of your artwork is the atmosphere you created. It fits Fluttershy's friendliness perfectly well because of the bright colors and soft, gentle shadows. The sun from behind adds a pretty effect to the light situation. I also like the fact, that the sky seems as if it was viewed at the moment just before sunset turns it red.

The picture's composition is a simple one, but that's totally okay I think since it suits the atmosphere well, avoiding unnecessary information.

On the other hand, there are parts that you may improve in future works, such as the anatomy. For example, the relation of neck and bottom speaking of thickness would look more natural, or at least more feminine, if it was the other way around: The bottom having more flesh than the neck.

It's also a bit irritating to me that only one wing can be seen. Of course, there may be a few angles where one wing actually is invisible even though being spread, yet to a viewer hidden things like that wing often seem to be simply missing.
As far as I know it's some trick our brain plays on us.

The eyes got pretty shapes and make Fluttershy very recognizeable on your picture, even though you chose to draw them in your own style. (Which is a good thing anyway I think! :3) However, the right eye (from our point of view) seems to miss its white part, since that area is yellow like the fur.

But please don't be demotivated even if there's quite some critique, you're doing a great job and will surely be able to create even more fabulous pieces soon. :3
