2nd poster!! I Am Pony! Just like the first one, this kind of hit me xD I was browsing through my movie collection and saw this cover, and imagined Winona to be Samantha from the original I Am Legend, so the jump to AJ en Winona in their own movie was made pretty quickly in my mind.
I intend on doing more posters, so if you like them, be sure to keep watching!!
This was a nice piece of work, but I had a few problems with this, don't be discouraged!
The colors felt a little strange, the lines too thick and soft. Applejack looks like she has been lit up from them inside by radiation,, and does her mane and tail. Her eyes, too, ar excessively soft, and I could not see any black for the irises.
The style. again, too bright and cheerful for the movie this was coming from. She looks like a foal a bit, and the background was quite smooth, rather subtracting from the overall feel of past apocalyptic towns.
basically, the main problem I had with this was texture. You made everything too smooth to crank this out quicker, when a little more time could have worked wonders on the picture. It's the subtleties that makes art great, and this was lacking in them. Winona was strange, she felt small, and smooth, and the eyes are oddly sized.
All in all, you should take more time on your work. texture more! it is not awful, you clearly have talent, but you rush your work! 6/10.
"Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright" Dang you, Will Smith. I can't even enjoy me some Bob Marley without crying anymore. ;~;
